Multiple shades of purple swarovski crystals woven around black leather with brass button closure.
"I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it."
- Alice Walker
ABOUT THE CRYSTAL:

Created in Austria by a process patented by Daniel Swarovski in the early 19th century using hydroelectricity, the bicone beads most people associte with the name were inspired by the northern lights. While collaborating in the 1950's with designer Christian Dior, Swarovski created the Aurora Borealis effect with the crystals.
ABOUT THE COLOR:

The earliest archaeological evidence for the origins of purple points to the Minoan civilization in Crete, around 1900 B.C. The ancient land of Canaan (its corresponding Greek name was Phoenicia, which means “land of the purple”) was the center of the ancient industry. Today purple is still a popular symbol of wealth for the rich and famous and is said to encourage creativity.
